Dr. Ari Mackler works at the intersection of science, nutrition, and consumer wellness. Throughout his career, he has translated rigorous research into products designed to meaningfully improve human health. His work reflects a core belief: food and functional nutrition represent one of the most important frontiers in preventive health.

Ari earned his Ph.D. from the Loma Linda University School of Medicine and completed his postdoctoral training at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. He also holds an MBA from the Indiana University Kelley School of Business.

He began his career at Merck & Co., where he spent nearly a decade translating complex science into clinical and commercial outcomes. That experience gave him a distinctive foundation in evidence-based health innovation.

Ari later made a deliberate move from pharmaceuticals into food, nutrition, and phytochemistry, driven by his conviction that prevention, functional ingredients, and better food systems will play an increasingly important role in human health.

At The Wonderful Company, Ari served as Vice President of Clinical Development, directing research that informed scientific strategy and consumer innovation across the company’s wellness brands.

In 2022, Ari founded The Seder Group to help build businesses that make life better. The firm believes the strongest opportunities emerge where strategy, science, and creativity meet. The Seder Group works closely with select food and beverage, nutraceutical, and life sciences companies, helping them unlock growth through intelligent product innovation, focused brand strategy, and disciplined channel development.
